Setting herself a One Song A Month challenge, 'Little Fox' is the fifth song in the series by Seattle alt-pop artist Liyv. Utilising whimsical lyrics, entrancing vocoders and offbeat loop pedals, the 19 year-old singer/songwriter has as much creativity as she has vision. Reminding us of a young Imogen Heap, Liyv (or Olivia Holman) comes across as having complete faith in her artistic persona and is not afraid to discuss her own sensibilities within her tracks. We like how she uses cutesy phrases to push through strong messages in a way that is anything but teenage. Intriguing and unique, Liyv is as wily as the fox she sings about. - SJ
